Bus accident outside Växjö
A bus has overturned between Växjö and Alvesta. One person has died and around ten are seriously injured.

Region Kronoberg has activated its emergency response plan following an accident on national road 25. Hospitals in Växjö, Ljungby, Värnamo and Karlskrona are admitting injured patients.
The region has crisis support in place to assist those affected and their families. People with minor injuries have been taken to Skärvet, where crisis support is also available.
The scene of the accident has been cordoned off and the police are investigating the cause of the accident. Traffic is still being affected. See the Swedish Transport Administration’s website for the latest traffic information.
