Severe weather expected in the Canary islands on 7–8 November
Heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and strong wind gusts are expected to affect the Canary Islands over the weekend. The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs urges Swedish nationals in the area to stay updated on weather developments and follow instructions from local authorities.

Spain’s national meteorological agency, AEMET, has issued orange weather warnings for Tenerife, Gran Canaria, La Palma, La Gomera and El Hierro. Yellow weather warnings are in effect for Lanzarote and Fuerteventura.
