Total defence exercise in Lycksele and Vindeln
From 29 September to 2 October, a military exercise will be taking place in the municipalities of Lycksele and Vindeln. This will result in increased police and military activity in both woodland and built-up areas.

The Police Authority and the Swedish Armed Forces are conducting an exercise to protect critical infrastructure. Helicopters and drones will be used during the exercise, and there may be loud noises and explosions.
The police are urging the public to respect cordons and to keep a safe distance from the exercise area. There will also be extensive airspace restrictions over the exercise area.
