Test of the outdoor warning system

On December 1, the outdoor warning system is tested at 15.00 (3 pm). The signal sounds for 7 seconds, with 14 second breaks, for a total of 6 times. Afterwards, the “all clear” signal is tested, which is an uninterrupted 30-second signal. Read more on how the emergency warning system in Sweden works.

2G and 3G networks are being shut down – some mobile phones may not be able to call 112

Starting in December, 2G and 3G networks in Sweden will begin to be shut down. Some mobile phones will not be able to reach the emergency number 112, even though they use the 4G network. If you have one of these phones, your operator will contact you.
