Nursing home visit ban will be lifted on 1 October

Care organisations are to take responsibility for ensuring that visits are carried out in a hygienic manner. The Public Health Agency of Sweden will put forth recommendations in support of visits. These will include instructions about visit routines, with a focus on personal distance and hygiene.

If the spread of infection increases locally, the Public Health Agency will consider issuing local restrictions and advice against visits.
