Class 2 warning for extremely high temperatures in Kalmar County
SMHI has issued a class 2 warning for extremely high temperatures in Kalmar County, except for Öland. The warning will remain in effect until Wednesday.
The temperature in the area will remain above 30 degrees. Extreme heat can cause major health problems for certain groups such as the elderly, the sick and infants.
Class 2 is the most severe warning category for high temperatures. SMHI has issued the warning as the temperature will remain high for five consecutive days until Wednesday.
