The police have introduced a security zone covering parts of the Oxhagen and Varberga areas in Örebro. The aim is to prevent serious violent crimes related to conflicts linked to criminal groups. The security zone is in effect from 21 May at 18:00. Anyone who is in the security zone may see more police officers and notice that they are doing more preventive checks. In a security zone, police have the right to conduct body searches and search vehicles.
