Orange warning for wind

SMHI has issued an orange warning for wind for northern Götaland and the south-westernmost part of Svealand. The warning are valid from Sunday afternoon. The wind may affect traffic conditions on the roads. Consider not going out in traffic.

Drinking water

Tap water in Sweden is safe to drink but in case of a suspected contamination, there may be a recommendation to boil the water. These will be in Swedish.

Attacks around the Persian Gulf

On 28 February 2026, Israel and the United States launched attacks on Iran. Iran has responded with strikes against Israel and other countries in the region. The situation in the countries surrounding the Persian Gulf remains highly unpredictable, and Swedish citizens in the area are advised to follow information provided by the Swedish Embassy.
