The June 2025 conflict between Israel and Iran
Original text: Israel and Iran have launched air strikes against each other. The security situation in the region is unpredictable and the risk of further escalation cannot be excluded. Iran
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to Iran.
Swedes in Iran should continue to exercise the utmost caution and avoid travelling near places that may have political, military or military-industrial significance. Follow the travel information on the Embassy's website, international and local news and the advice given by local authorities.

Israel
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to the border areas with Gaza and Lebanon within a distance of ten kilometers from each respective border. Furthermore, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to the Golan Heights.
The security situation remains unpredictable and the risk of further escalation in the region cannot be excluded. Swedes in Israel are advised to keep updated through the Israeli Civil Defence, local authorities' instructions, embassy travel information and local media.

Palestine
The Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to Gaza and, in the West Bank, to the provinces of Jenin, Tulkarm, Tubas, and Qalqilia, as well as to those parts of the Nablus province located north of the city of Nablus.
Furthermore, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to other areas of the West Bank located north of Ramallah and Jericho, and south of Bethlehem.
Road 90 south of Jericho, along the Dead Sea, is not included in the advisory.
Swedish citizens in Jerusalem and Palestine are advised to stay up to date through the Israeli Civil Defence website, local authorities, the Consulate General and Embassy in Tel Aviv's travel information and local media.
