High fire risk in southern and central Sweden
The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency warns that the dry, warm weather prevailing in southern and central Sweden has led to great risk of fire in woodlands and fields. The forecast indicates that the fire risk will increase going forward.
It is important that the public exercise caution and help to reduce the risk of fires starting. You can see the level of fire risk in the ‘Brandrisk Ute’ app and check your local emergency service’s website to see if an open burning ban has been issued.
