Important public announcement for Malmö, Skåne County. A suspicious object has been found at a store on Hyllie allé in Hyllievång in Malmö. The site is cordoned off and the National Bomb Squad is on its way. The public is asked to keep their distance from the site or to stay indoors with windows and doors closed. Storm gust warning for parts of Jämtland

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, SMHI, issued a class 2 warning on Thursday for storm gusts in inland parts of Jämtland county. The warning applies for Friday, when northwesterly storm gust winds of 25 m/s are expected.

A class 2 storm warning has already been issued for the Jämtland mountains.

On account of the expected weather situation, the Swedish Transport Administration urges all road users to allocate more time to travel and to adapt their driving to the weather and road conditions.

Definition for warning class 2 storm gusts: Wind gusts over 25 m/s. Beware of structural damage and objects flying about. Greater damage to forests and a risk of disruption to traffic, electricity supply and telephone communication.
