Public Health Agency of Sweden: Different Walpurgis Night this year

Due to the spread of COVID-19, this year's celebration of Walpurgis Night will be different, writes the Public Health Agency of Sweden. One should avoid parties and think about not forming crowds. It is also important to keep a distance to other people, also outdoors.

The same restrictions for the number of people who can gather also apply during 1 May – where demonstration permits will not be granted for more than 50 people. This also applies to other holidays during the spring such as Ramadan with Eid al-Fitr.
Mosques will be closed to protect against infection.
