Weather warning concerning storm in the northern Lappland mountains
A class 2 weather warning has been issued concerning storm in the northern Lappland mountains in Norrbotten county.
The warning is issued for wednesday night and night against Thursday.
Definition for Warning class 2 storm: Average wind of at least 25 m/s. Very difficult to keep upright. No visibility if there is loose snow. Dangerous to stay on the mountain. The wind gusts can reach hurricane strength. Class 2 is the highest warning class for wind in the mountains.
