Numerous signs of the spread of the coronavirus within the society
According to the Public Health Agency of Sweden, there are numerous signs of the spread of the coronavirus within the society in the Stockholm and the Västra Götaland regions. At present, the Agency sees no general spread of the disease in the rest of the country, but the level of risk has been raised to "very high risk of spread in Sweden".
The Public Health Agency urges people with symptoms to limit contact with other persons so as not to infect others. This applies on both professional and personal levels.
It is of paramount importance that those working in elderly care do not attend work if they experience symptoms of respiratory infection. Relatives should avoid unnecessary visits to hospitals and nursing homes, and refrain from any visits if they have symptoms of respiratory infection.
