WHO:Covid-19 outbreak is a pandemic
The World Health Organisation, WHO, today declared the outbreak of covid-19 to be a pandemic.
The disease exists or is expected to exist on all continents, and will probably affect all countries, according to the Swedish Public Health Agency ("Folkhlsomyndigheten").
WHO emphasizes that all countries should prepare for the disease, foremost concerning healthcare. For Sweden, the declaration will not cause any changes in the work already in progress. The estimates of risk as well the strategies and measures presented during the past few days will remain, writes the Swedish Public Health Agency.
