Orange warning regarding heavy snowfall in parts of middle Sweden
The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, SMHI, have issued an orange level weather warning regarding heavy snowfall in Northeast Svealand and Gästrikland from Thursday afternoon.
During the night to Friday, there is a risk of 10-15 centimetres of snow and occasional strong wind gusts.
Traffic disruptions can occur because of the weather. In connection with winds, and particularly in coastal regions, there may be snow drifts. In areas with overground power lines, there may be power cuts, and possible communication disturbances.
