The Swedish Public Health Agency recommends that a booster of the Covid-19 vaccine is given from at least three months after the last dose of the primary vaccination. It is a shorter time interval than previously.

According to the Swedish Public Health Agency, it is the intense spread of Covid-19 in the country that means that it now recommends a booster dose already after three months from the last dose of the primary vaccination.
The booster dose is currently recommended for anyone 18 years and older. A previous Covid-19 infection does not rule out vaccination.
