Negative Covid-19 test required for entry from China
The government is now introducing temporary entry restrictions on travel from China. This means that travellers from China must present a certificate for a negative Covid-19 test results upon arrival in Sweden.
The entry restrictions apply from 7 January until 28 January inclusive.
The test requirement applies to adults and children over the age of 12 who are third-country citizens. Anyone with a residence permit in Sweden, who is permanently resident in the EU and EEA or who has urgent family reasons for visiting Sweden is exempt from the test requirement. Swedish citizens are not subject to the entry restrictions.
