About the floods in Spain

Original text: Parts of Spain have been hit by severe flooding. Avoid unnecessary travel through affected areas.

Several Spanish regions have been hit by severe floods after heavy rainfall.

Rescue operations are ongoing. Local authorities are reporting on the number of casualties and injuries as well on advice to the public.

The Swedish embassy advises those in the affected areas to follow the instructions from local authorities and minimise movement within the region.
