Several Spanish regions have been hit by severe floods after heavy rainfall.

Rescue operations are ongoing. Local authorities are reporting on the number of casualties and injuries as well on advice to the public.

The Swedish embassy advises those in the affected areas to follow the instructions from local authorities and minimise movement within the region.

If you are in an area hit by floods, contact your relatives in Sweden to let them know you are safe.
