The Swedish Police on the recent explosions in residential areas

Following the recent blasts in residential buildings, the Police are calling on the public to be vigilant.

Those who are out in the evenings and nights should call 112 if they see anything that could be suspected to being part of a serious crime, according to the police.

‘We know that criminals hide objects in basements, cellars, stairwells, ventilation spaces or other public areas. But it can also be objects that are visibly placed in a public place,’ says Max Åkerwall, Deputy Chief of Police in Stockholm South.
