Storm warning in Skåne

SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute) has issued a Class 2 storm warning for strong winds in Skåne. The warning will be in effect Friday afternoon.

SMHI's definition of a Class 2 storm warning: Wind speeds of 25 m/s to 30 m/s. Damage to buildings, with the risk of flying objects. Significant damage to forests and the risk of disruptions in electricity and telecommunications services. If the forecast changes to 30m/s or higher, the warning will be upgraded to a higher class.
