Stay at home if anyone in the household has covid-19

Many people are infected by another household member. Those living with someone who has been confirmed to have covid-19 may be subjected to special rules.

They will be contacted by an contagion tracker and receive more information about what applies. The rules may include that you are not allowed to go to work for seven days.

The Public Health Agency recommends the following exceptions:

  • Children and students in preschools, primary schools and corresponding school forms as well as upper secondary schools may continue to go to school.
  • Those who have previously tested positive for covid-19 or been confirmed to have antibodies in the last six months are excluded.
