Important public announcement for Emmaboda in Emmaboda Municipality, Kalmar County. There is a fire in an apartment building in central Emmaboda causing thick smoke. Important public announcement for Hammarbyhöjden, Stockholm

Update 16.09 on 28 January 2025: The important public announcement regarding dangerous object in Hammarbyhöjden has been revoked and is no longer in effect.

Original message: A dangerous object has been found on Sofielundsvägen. The area between Hållövägen/Åsgärdevägen has been cordoned off. 

Residents in the area are advised to stay indoors and away from windows. 

The Police announce that a nearby school has been secured. Police bomb technicians will destroy the object on site. A loud bang may be heard.

The information comes from the Swedish Radio and the Swedish Police.
