New recommendation for covid testing after a trip abroad
Those who have travelled outside the Nordic countries are recommended to take a covid-19 test on arrival in Sweden, according to the Swedish Public Health Agency. Swedish citizens are also included in the recommendation, which applies from 12 July to 31 August.
Those who have been vaccinated with a dose at least three weeks before arrival in Sweden or those who have had covid-19 in the past six months are exempt from the recommendation.
What is new is that the recommendation for testing also applies to travel within the EU.
