Updated 2 February, 00.10: The public warning about a dangerous object in Uppsala has been withdrawn.

Original message: 

A suspected dangerous object has been found on Albert Engströms gata in Gränby. For their own safety and to facilitate the work of the police, the public in the neighbourhood are urged to stay indoors. At 22.56, the police write that the object has been detonated and neutralised.

The police write on their website that the site is cordoned off and that the national bomb squad has arrived. Residents in the area are urged to go indoors and stay away from the barriers.
