Update 29 December 10.22: After the storm Johannes, the electricity grid is being restored in affected areas. Keep your distance from power lines on the ground. Do not enter storm-damaged forests.
Original text: The Swedish weather agency SMHI has issued weather warnings regarding strong winds and snow in parts of the mountain range. On Saturday 27 December, strong winds are expected in large parts of northern Sweden and parts of Gotland.
Road conditions and accessibility may be affected, so follow the instructions from the authorities and plan your journey well in advance. Train services may be cancelled.
Power cuts and telecommunications disruptions may occur.
