Travel advice – Democratic Republic of the Congo
Due to the security situation, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against all travel to the provinces of South Ubangi, North Ubangi, Bas Uele, Haut Uele, Ituri, North Kivu, South Kivu, Maniema, Tanganyika, Kasaï, and Kasaï Central in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Furthermore, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs advises against non-essential travel to other parts of the country.
The decision to issue this advice was taken on June 3, 2025.
The advice is valid until further notice.
