Update 7 April at 12.54: The important public announcement has been revoked and is no longer in effect.
A suspected dangerous object has been found at the intersection of Skeppsbron and Carlsgatan. The area between Jörgen Kocksgatan and Neptunigatan has been cordoned off. Police are urging residents in the area to stay indoors and away from windows.
