SMHI warns of heavy drifting snow
Update January 8, 21:50: SMHI have revoked the weather warning class 2 for heavy drifting snow for the Stockholm Uppsala and Gävleborg counties.
Original text: The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute, SMHI, has issued a warning for heavy drifting snow in Gävleborg, Uppsala and Stockholm County (Roslagen).The snow is expected to start falling during Monday night. The snowfall will intensify on Tuesday.
The weather can cause major traffic problems and risk of disruption in electricity and telecommunications services.
