Warning class 2 storm in the Lappland Mountains
SMHI (Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute) has issued a Class 2 storm warning for storm in the Lappland Mountains. The warning will be in effect Saturday afternoon until Sunday.
Definition for Warning Class 2 storm: Average wind of at least 25 mUs. Dangerous to stay on the mountain. Very difficult to walk upright. No visibility if there is loose snow. Class 2 is the most serious warning class for wind in mountain regions.
