Limitations concerning prescripted medications

Starting today, it will not be possible to take more medications from pharmacies than you need for a period of 3 months. The government has decided this after the demand for medications has increased significantly.

The limitation applies to all prescription medications and regardless of whether the medication is included in the Maximum Health Bill and regardless of whether the patient pays for the medication himself  Exceptions may only be made for special reasons.

The decision also means that 2/3 of the medication prescription must have been consumed before more medication can be given. The purpose is to counteract the lack of medication as a result of hoarding.
