Swedish embassy in Lebanon: Swedish citizens should be careful
This weekend there are demonstrations in Lebanon, that will take place in Beirut.
Swedish citizens are urged to be very careful, avoid crowds and the areas where the demonstrations take place. It is also of importance that the curfew during nightime is respected and to keep yourself updated with information from the media. Moreover, also take part of instructions and recommendations from the local authorities.
The embassy also recommends that Swedish citizens in Beirut reach out to their relatives and it is also suggested to register oneself at the “svensklistan”.
