The application for compensation for risk groups is now open
From today, the Swedish Social Insurance Agency is open to applications for compensation for those people who have to refrain from working in order to avoid being infected by the coronavirus that causes covid-19.
Compensation can be applied for retroactively for the period from 1 July until 30 September. The applicant must be able to show a medical certificate showing that he or she belongs to one of the risk groups for covid-19 who may be entitled to compensation.
The opportunity to apply for compensation applies to those who have a job or are self-employed and who do not have the opportunity to work from home.
