Update to travel advisory for China

The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs ("Utrikesdepartementet" or "UD") advises against all non-essential travel to China, with the exception of Hong Kong and Macao. UD previously advised against all travel to Hubei province. This advisory is in effect until further notice.

According to the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the decision has been taken because of the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, which is affecting China in many ways. The Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs writes that access to healthcare services may be limited and that the embassy's ability to provide consular assistance may be affected.

The advisory against non-essential travel includes tourist travel and similar trips. An advisory against all travel also encompasses work travel.
