Third dose of Covid-19 vaccine likely next year
Next year, a large portion of the population is likely to be offered a booster dose of Covid-19 vaccine. Certain risk groups could possibly already get a third dose in the fall.
How many will be offered a third dose depends on any new virus variants and other factors. The Public Health Agency is also monitoring developments in countries that are ahead of Sweden in vaccination work.
According to the Public Health Agency, the supply of vaccines will be adequate for a long period.
