Few cases of Covid-19 among those vaccinated
Vaccines against covid-19 provide good protection against the disease, says the Public Health Agency of Sweden. Of the hundreds of thousands vaccinated, about 200 have tested positive for Covid-19 after the second dose.
It is unknown how many of those who tested positive had symptoms or needed medical attention. From the information collected, it is not clear why these people were sampled. It may have been due to symptoms or in connection with infection tracking.
As it is still unclear to what extent vaccinated people can spread the infection, it is important that even vaccinated people continue to follow authority guidelines to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
