The Danish Police on the shooting in Copenhagen

A shooting has taken place at a shopping centre in Copenhagen. The police are urging members of the public to be source-critical and to follow the advice and instructions issued by the authorities.

People who are in Copenhagen are encouraged to contact their relatives to let them know that they are well. The Copenhagen police are also asking the general public not to share photos and videos of injured people on social media. Witnesses to the incident are asked to contact the Copenhagen police on phone number 114.

A reception centre for relatives and people who were present during the shooting has been opened at Travbanehallen in Kastrup. The police will be there on Monday from 12 noon.
