Orange warning for high temperatures

The Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute (SMHI) has issued an orange warning for high temperatures of around 35 degrees in northeast Götaland and in the southern parts of inner Svealand throughout Wednesday and Thursday.

At the same time, SMHI has issued yellow warnings for high temperatures of between 30 and 35 degrees in inner and eastern Götaland, inner Svealand, southeastern Norrland and on Gotland throughout Wednesday and Thursday.

The heat will culminate on Thursday.

A temperature above 30 degrees means an increased strain on the body, which can cause problems, especially for risk groups.
