Original message: Important public announcement for Borgholm, Öland, in Kalmar county. There is a fire in an apartment building. People are urged to avoid the area, to go inside and close doors, windows and vents.
The city hall in Borgholm is closed on Wednesday due to smoke. The employees are working from home. A school and a public library are also closed.
Temporary housing for those who have been evacuated during the fire has been arranged.
