Original message: An important public announcement has been issued in Färjegårdarna, Borlänge Municipality, Dalarna County. A major fire has broken out at a waste facility, resulting in heavy smoke. The incident commander urges everyone to stay away from the area and, if necessary, to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation systems.
As fire-fighting water has run into the Dalälven, the emergency services advise against swimming or using water from the river along the stretch between Fagersta village and Torsång.
