Original text: After the storm Alfrida, a large number of households have been hit by power cuts. This mainly affects Gotland, Stockholm and Uppsala county.

In the affected areas, some municipalities have opened drop-in centres in, for example, fire stations. There you can get drinking water, charge your mobile phone, or get warm for a little while.  In many places, the power outage is also affecting telephony and access to drinking water. The municipalities have arranged standpipes where you can pick up drinking water.
