SMHI warns of heavy snowfall in Gävleborg County during the night between Sunday and Monday.
It is snowing heavily in parts of Götaland right now and during the night between Sunday and Monday the snowfall will continue to the north. SMHI has issued a class 2 warning for heavy snowfall in Gävleborg County.
A class 2 warning for large amounts of snow means that between 20 millimeters (in melted form) up to 35 millimeters of snow is expected to fall within twelve hours. The snowfall may result in major traffic problems. There may also be problems with disturbances in the supply of electricity and telecommunications if the temperature is close to zero degrees.
