The site is cordoned off and the National Bomb Squad is on its way. The public is asked to keep their distance from the site or to stay indoors with windows and doors closed. Update 23 September 2024: The public warning regarding a fire in Kalix has been withdrawn and is no longer in effect.

Original message: There is a fire in a sawmill near Kalix with heavy smoke development as a result. The rescue leader urges everyone in the area to go indoors and close doors, windows and ventilation.
