Region Gotland: Reduce use of municipal water
Region Gotland urges households and businesses connected to the municipal water network to cut back on water consumption.
Use tap water only for:
- Food
- Drinks
- Hygiene
How did this situation arise?
More water is being consumed than Region Gotland can produce. There are several reasons. Among other things, the cleaning of reservoirs.
The areas at risk of running out of water are: Visby, Lummelunda, Brissund, Själsö, Väskinde, Vibble, Västerhejde, Tofta and Västergarn.
