A serious accident has occurred in a ride at the amusement park Gröna Lund in Stockholm. Several people are injured and the park is closed until further notice.
Update 21.35 on 22 June 2023: The warning regarding a fire in Vallentuna has been withdrawn. Original message: An industry building is on fire. There is extensive smoke from the fire and a risk of explosions, because of gas cylinders kept there.
The Swedish weather agency SMHI has issued an orange level warning for high water discharge. The warning concerns the river Rautasälven and river Kaitumälven upstream of lake Kaitumjaure in Norrbotten county.
There is extreme risk of fire throughout the country. A small spark can create a large fire. The Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) therefore urges the public to be cautious and to comply with the fire bans issued in many parts of the country.
