The Drinking Water in Östersund Should Be Boiled
Update 19/10 kl 15.40. The water no longer contains bacteria. Therefore the drinking water no longer needs to be boiled. Original text: Everybody connected to the municipal water system in Östersund local authority as well as parts of Krokom local authority are being urged to boil their drinking water before using it for consumption or cooking. According to the local authorities there are signs that the water contains bacteria.

The warning concerns everyone who is connected to the municipal drinking water network in the city of Östersund and Brunflo urban area as well as the area between them: Frösö urban area, Lugnvik, Byskogen and Sånghusvallen as well as Annersia from Vallsundsbron to Orrviken.
