The dry conditions throughout Sweden mean that forest fires may easily spread. Therefore many local or regional authorities have issued so-called fire prohibitions.

This means that it is currently forbidden to light fires outdoors in many municipalities and regions.
Note that barbecuing is usually prohibited when there is a fire prohibition in your area. Be very careful not to cause fires.
